Over 350 MPs and Peers have supported BIG projects in the past, but it must be noted that there is no standing membership. Individual Parliamentarians support BIG campaigns on a per campaign basis only. So a Parliamentarian may support one campaign, but disagree with another. Parliamentarians are not necessarily consulted on research or research ‘Green Papers’ which are designed primarily to provoke debate among members and the general public.
